DeafNevada.org is a cooperative effort to serve the deaf and hard of hearing population in Northern Nevada. The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Advocacy Resource Center (DHHARC) and the Nevada Association of the Deaf (NVAD) have combined resources to effectively address critical issues such as:

• Accessible Education
• Employment Opportunities
• Legal, Social and Mental Health Services
• Information and Assistance for Parents and Other Service Agencies
• Seeking Funds to Assist with Hearing Aids, Books and Special Needs
• A Greater Supply of Interpreters and Teachers of the Deaf

DeafNevada.org is also your resource for events, updates, information and special announcements affecting you and the Deaf community in the greater Carson City, Reno and Sparks area.
